For some reason every year near my birthday I get a craving for a new scent. I’m not sure why that is because I’m a pretty monogamous perfume wearer. For a long time I only sported the fragrance Pleasures. Then after that I moved over to Pleasure Intense. What? It’s a small change which is what I’m better at. And then last year after watching Oprah’s Favorite Things episode, I decided to stop by the nearest perfume counter to take whiff of SJP’s new scent Lovely. I’m against all scents concocted by a celebrity, but I heart Oprah, so if she listed it as one of her favorite things, how I could I not? Especially at a point when I was ready to make a scent change, I had been monogamous for years with Estee Lauder, and I know for sure that I don’t want to be that girl who is still wearing whatever the name is of the perfume is my mom let me wear in 7th grade that Google is not helping me find the name of. Boo Google. Anyway, I don’t want to wear the same perfume forever, I just don’t want to switch perfumes daily, I prefer to finish the bottle, yeah that’s what I’m trying to say. Whew. And I do think Lovely is Lovely. Good job SJP.
So a few weeks go while shopping with my good friend Amelia, we stopped by the perfume counter, and I started smelling….and I found it; a new scent.
Here’s where I need your help…..because husband already knows what he’s getting me so I could do a trade off like, “I would rather have this than that”.
Would you rather have an automatic car starter OR the perfume that is meant to be your new scent? Keep in mind that I am also getting something else that I am in no way sacrificing that gift for perfume. I cannot live any longer without a CD player in my Xterra and since the stock one broke (bad xterra) I’ve been a good girl and waited patiently.
And
Would you rather have a Mexican Fiesta birthday party at home with margarita’s, sangria and yummy Mexican snacks OR go out to dinner?

1) I’d go with the perfume – then throw on a sexy teddy, spritz yourself, and SHARE the gift with your husband
2) I say at home Mexican fiesta – b/c then you can get drink as much as you want and your bedroom is just a room away
