Friday night we had my work Christmas party. It was fun, we enjoyed some Mexican food married with dos xx’s beer. It was good conversation and better then I thought it would be.
Saturday we ventured out to finish our Christmas shopping and we are now finished. I’m very excited for the gifts we got all the kids this year, our nephews and then my 2 close friends children. I’ll be smiling when they open them!
We finished Christmas shopping around 2, and then met up with the brother-in-law and his girlfriend for lunch and refreshments. We were tuckered out and falling asleep by 9pm. I woke up around 2:30am, and a few minutes later Rob woke up to use the bathroom. We ended up wide away until about 6am. I have no idea what happened there. We watched T.V and thought about playing scrabble, but never did.
Sunday I went grocery shopping and made dinner while Rob went off to the computer store with his friend who is our computer sensei. It’s looking like he can’t fix it this time so we need to buy some new parts.
I loved the weekend. I just love preparing the holidays. In a previous post I mentioned that it felt “different” this year….more exciting somehow. I’m thinking that might true.

I love preapring for the holidays, too. And, I am nearly done shopping. Stocking stuffers and a couple more gifts are all that’s left.
