Hey wait a minute, I know that hat!

Mmmmm.  Nothing going on here.  I’m all dressed up with no place to go.  Okay, that’s a lie, I am going somewhere but Luke’s napping at the moment so I’m waiting for his majesty to wake up so I can dress him up in something adorable.  And I’m not really dressed up, if you call jeans and a black top dressed up, BUT I am dressed and SHOWERED so I consider this a feat in itself.  My hair is not greasy and in a hat.  HUGE FEAT.  Anyway, we are heading to the mall, not really for anything but maybe something.  Mostly just to get out and I’m bored.  We are also going to stop by the grandparents.  My dad is home from the hospital and his surgery went great.  All cancer was contained.  My mom is just lonely and since she had some surgery on her foot like THREE YEARS ago and still can’t drive we are going to stop over there.  Okay, it wasn’t THREE years ago, more like March 3rd, but sweet baby J this is the longest recovery I have heard of in my life.  My dad just had an ORGAN removed and he’s healed up pretty well in a week!

I can hear Luke snoring from the living room.

I’m currently starving and really wanting one of those pretzels from the mall.  I think going to the mall is going to be a mistake because I want to buy something and shouldn’t, nor do I need anything really.  A few weeks ago I went to the mall shopping with a friend and I came across this hat.  Wait, I’m going to go see if I can find it online…..okay, I couldn’t find the exact thing but it was sort of like this, but less wicker and more just khaki.

I convinced myself I did not need it and it was a waste of money, but since then I keep wishing I would have bought it.  I also plan to spend a lot of time at the beach this summer but then I thought I also have a child to keep an eye on and will I be able to see past the brim?  Hehehe.  The real hat was a lot like the one Rachel wears in The One At The Beach.  She tells them hats are back and Pheobe says, “And this time they’ve ganged up to form one giant, super hat!”

I should have bought that super hat.

Oh well.  I hear a stirring Lukey in the living room.  We’re OFF!
